Severn Log Cabin - The impressive Severn Log Cabin is the top of our 28mm interlocking Log Cabin range. At almost 16' x 12' on the inside this is a truly large cabin with plenty of space for a variety of uses. You could install both a sauna and a jacuzzi inside and still have room for changing, or perhaps you need a large garden office or games room. It would also make a fantastic workshop or hobby room. Double doors and two single windows come as standard. The tilt 'n' turn windows give the option of some ventilation in the tilt position or fully open to enjoy a summer breeze. Convenience Features:2000mm (6’6”) High internal eaves, giving more interior space. This is the lowest point inside so you’re unlikely to hit your head on the ceiling unless you’re taller than 6’6”. Double Door, this gives ease of access to the Cabin when moving items into and out of it and also allows more fresh air into the cabin during summer months if desired. Single Window featuring tilt ‘n’ turn facility - all of our windows feature a tilt ‘n’ turn facility so that you can leave the window on tilt to let some fresh air in and still have some security or fully open it. 1200mm (4’) (approx) overhanging canopy to the front of the cabin, creates a shady place ideal for relaxing outside on a sunny day, which also offers some protection from rain. The canopy can be cut back during construction quite easily if a smaller overhang is desired. Construction Features:28mm Thick tongue and grooved interlocking log walls featuring bevelled notches for ease of assembly and a better seal when compared to straight cut notches. 19mm Thick tongue and grooved roofing and flooring for a sturdier roof and to prevent bounce in the floor when walking upon it. Large 80mm x 60mm Pressure treated floor bearers to prevent fungal decay and damage by insects. Heavy duty 134mm x 38mm Roof beams to prevent ‘sagging’, pre-notched to slot onto apexes. Storm protection beams are provided to secure the apex sections to the lower sections of the wall. All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), pre-notched pine or spruce to ensure a rapid and easy assembly. Windows and single doors are pre-hung and pre-assembled to simply slot into place.
