The electrons accelerate across an electrostatic field inside the intensifier and strike a phosphor screen (like a monochrome tv screen) which emits an image that you can see. This acceleration of electrons provides gain and enhances the image. The Bushnell Seagull, as the name suggests is a waterproof scope and is therefore perfect for sailors and fishermen. It is an extremely compact and lightweight monocular and offers outstanding viewing clarity in the darkest conditions.
